Sorry For Your Loss - Trailer
This 45 second trailer I edited for the comedy writing team of Kat and Eis for their short film, "Sorry For Your Loss," which is set to premiere at the Manhattan Film Festival and the Buffalo Niagara Film Festival. |

The Sound of Suspense - 30 Second Spot
The spot integrates Blue Moon's tagline, "Artfully Crafted", with the sound design in Bates Motel. |

CME Recut - Director ReelThe cinematographer of this commercial wanted an alternative cut prepared for his reel. We worked together over three sessions, enhancing the story with mild suspense and incorporating additional stunning camera work to show off his skills.

Sean Gilroy - Director's Reel
I cut this reel in 2014. Sean works in many mediums, and my challenge in making his reel was weaving a narrative thru-line between all of them. I think the piece showcases the dark themes of his work and the montf of a hero's journey. |

"You've Paid Enough Already" - 30 Sec Spot
This spot I cut as exercise for the Aesthetics of Editing class at Emerson College. Under the direction of Peter Schink, I was charged to use arabesque editing and the 'rule of 8' to keep viewer attention and unseeingly guide viewers' eyes around the screen. |

#SayHeyHillary
The fantastic creative people at Give Us Your Lunch Money Productions asked me to cut this a week after the 2016 Election. Using material captured by their team or submitted by fans all over the world, I cut this spot on a tight turnaround and couldn't be happier with the final product. |

America By The Numbers with Maria Hinojosa:
Episode Tease Reel This is a selection of teases I cut for a PBS series called America By The Numbers. Each broadcast directly following an episode's resolution to build interest in the following episode. I had a lot fun finding a story that best fit the fifteen second parameters. The short duration also allowed me to indulge in cutting in an arabesque and frame-specific manner. |

Bideawee TV Episode 1 - Teeth Cleaning
This is the first video of a series of tutorials I shot and edited for the Bideawee animal shelter in New York. Shooting single camera with actively moving subjects proved difficult at times, but it was overall a joy to work with animals and have whole select reels devoted to their expressions, while building the cuts in post. |
|
Hispanic Heritage Month - Web Promo
I produced and edited this video for the American Program Bureau's monthly e-newsletter. Coordinating with the company's talent, I acquired footage with Flipcams, and highlighted the importance of Hispanic Heritage Month through the voices of prominent Latinos. |

Without Charlie - Comedic Scene
A wise man once told me there are three kinds of actors: those who can act, those who can't act, and those who can act and react. This is a scene I cut from an unreleased comedy called Without Charlie. The editor of the film instructed me for exercise to keep the pacing sharp, and use anything I could find to improve weak reactions from set. It's not Oscar worthy, but it isn't Razzie either! |
|
The Nines - Dramatic Scene
This is a scene from The Nines that I cut for exercise under the direction of Peter Schink and the editor of the film, Kevin Tent. My effort focused on keeping a consistent visual rhythm and surreal qualities of this unique narrative. Isn't it uncanny? |
